A letter from the society
QMHS is a centre for Hindu Dharma. We foster a religious and social Hindu community across Queen Mary, Bart's, and the wider London population. Our goal is to create a thriving community of students across Queen Mary and Bart's, as well as in wider London. At QMHS we provide for everyone, from ardent devotees to newcomers, those looking for friends or those in search of gyan.
We come together to celebrate our wonderful festivals and embrace our Hindu culture. We adhere to your every need at university and provide a helping hand in some of the best years of your life.
We are a chapter of the National Hindu Students' Forum (UK), operating across ~40 UK universities since 1991, and proudly part of NHSF's London Zone alongside KCL, UCL, LSE, Imperial and City.
What we do
From evening aartis to the garba floor, from the badminton courts to careers panels. QMHS lives at the intersection of faith, culture and student life.
Aartis, scriptural exploration, sewa events, mandir trips, and Hindu awareness. Open to ardent devotees and curious newcomers alike.
